  • 3 ounces soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 6 ounces sweet chili sauce
  • 1.5 pounds chicken wings

  1. Season the chicken wings with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. Make sure to coat them evenly for a well-balanced flavor.

  4. Pour the mixture of soy sauce and sweet chili sauce over the wings and stir to ensure they are well coated.

  6. Garnish the wings with toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions.
  7. Transfer the wings to a serving platter and serve hot.

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • Freezing: To freeze, place cooked wings in a single layer on a baking sheet until firm, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag. They’ll last for about two months.
  • Pairing: These wings pair wonderfully with a fresh salad or coleslaw to balance the richness.
  • Flavor Variations: Experiment with different sauces like teriyaki or barbecue for a unique twist on the original recipe.
  • Cooking Methods: If you have an air fryer, wings can also be cooked in it for an even crispier texture!
