  • 1 can (10-oz) Rotel Diced Tomatoes with Green Chiles
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 can (2.8-oz) French fried onions

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF. This step is crucial as it ensures your dish bakes evenly and thoroughly.
  2. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. This prevents the spaghetti from sticking and makes for easier cleanup.
  3. Cook the angel hair pasta according to the package directions until it’s just al dente. Make sure to taste it a minute before the suggested time to avoid overcooking.
  4. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside. It’s okay if it cools slightly while you prepare the rest of the dish.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, and the undrained Rotel tomatoes. Mix thoroughly until everything is well incorporated.
  6. Add the drained pasta to the mixture. Gently fold everything together using a spatula. You want to ensure every strand of pasta is coated in that creamy goodness.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to smooth the top so it bakes evenly.
