Ingredients
  

  • 3 ½ to 4 lbs Chicken Thighs
  • 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 ½ tsp Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

Method
 

  1. Combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and sea salt in a bowl and stir until combined.
  2. Transfer the chicken thighs to a large zip lock bag, followed by the avocado oil and seasoning.
  3. Seal the bag and shake it around until the chicken thighs are well-coated in oil and seasoning.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, ideally 8.
  5. When you’re ready to smoke the chicken thighs, preheat your smoker to 375 degrees F (mine takes about 15 minutes to preheat).
  6. Place the chicken thighs on the smoker skin side-up and replace the cover.
  7. Cook for 45 minutes, or until the chicken thighs reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  8. Serve with side dishes, and enjoy!
