Method
- Place chicken in bottom of a 6-qt slow cooker.
- Top chicken with chili seasoning and BBQ sauce.
- Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours.
- Using two forks, shred chicken.
- Stir to combine chicken and sauce.
- Serve chicken on slider buns with additional BBQ sauce.
Notes
- Tip 1: I used boneless chicken breasts in this recipe. Feel free to swap the chicken breasts for some boneless chicken thighs or chicken tenderloins if you prefer.
- Tip 2: Make sure to use your favorite BBQ sauce. My favorite BBQ sauces are G. Hughes, Sweet Baby Rays, Stubbs, and Williamson Brothers.
- Tip 3: I used a packet of French’s Chili-O chili seasoning.
- Tip 4: You can freeze the leftover BBQ chicken for a quick meal later.
