Method
- Place chicken in a 6-qt slow cooker. Sprinkle with taco seasoning and top with tomatoes.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
- Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return chicken to slow cooker and stir in cheese dip.
- Serve with tortillas or hard taco shells and favorite taco toppings.
Notes
- Tip 1: If you feel that there is too much liquid in the slow cooker after the chicken cooks, you can drain it out of the crockpot.
- Tip 2: The amount of liquid will depend on the size and brand of chicken you use.
- Tip 3: You can use more or less cheese dip. Adjust measurements to your personal preference.
- Tip 4: You can freeze leftover chicken for later.
- Tip 5: I use Gordo’s or Pancho’s White Queso dip found in the refrigerated cheese section at the store.
