Ingredients
  

  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls
  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 onion red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 bunch freshly chopped cilantro

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken with barbecue sauce. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Prepare another bowl with butter and garlic salt. Mix and set aside.
  4. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and lay the bottoms in a baking dish.
  5. Spread the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the cut halves of the rolls.
  6. Arrange red onion slices over the chicken, then top with cheddar cheese.
  7. Place the tops of the rolls back on.
  8. Brush the tops with the garlic butter mixture.
  9. Cut between the sliders with a knife.
  10. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  11. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve warm.
