Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound flat iron steak
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 none Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 bunch Fresh herbs
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • Frying Pan
  • Chef's Knife
  • Grater

Method
 

  1. Cut the flat iron steak lengthwise to form two equal strips.
  2. Place all the above ingredients in a large baking pan, or Ziploc bag.
  3. Add the meat to it and place in the refrigerator for an hour or more.
  4. Start the BBQ. When temperature reaches high, add the steaks.
  5. Cover and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Turn the steaks and cook the other side for another 3 minutes, or to required doneness.
