Ingredients
  

  • 24 ounces white fish (cod, haddock, white fish, or paiche)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Blot excess moisture off of the white fish using paper towels.
  3. Season both sides of the fish generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Dredge the fish in flour, making sure to shake off any excess.
  5. Place the seasoned fish filets in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  6. Gently spoon mayonnaise over the fish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle lemon pepper generously over the mayonnaise.
  8. Add approximately 1/2 cup of water to the baking dish.
  9. Bake the fish for about 15 minutes.
  10. Finally, turn the broiler on your oven to brown the mayonnaise on top of the fish.
