Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  7. Combine the key lime juice, zest, and oil into the mixture.
  8. Slowly add the flour mixture, mixing until combined.
  9. Grease a bundt pan and pour in the batter.
  10. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
  12. Make the lime syrup and brush it over the warm cake.
  13. Prepare the glaze and drizzle it over the cooled cake.
  14. Serve the cake with optional decorations like lime zest and spirals.
