  • 8 ounces Water
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Fresh
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Freshly grated
  • 5 Mint Leaves Fresh

Equipment

  • Frying Pan
  • Large Pot
  • Saucepan
  • Grater
  • Wooden Spoon

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, add water and place it over medium-high heat. As the water begins to heat, prepare your other ingredients, ensuring your ginger is freshly grated.
  2. Once the water is heated, add in the freshly grated ginger and mint leaves. Stir the mixture gently and wait for it to come to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes for the flavors to infuse.
  4. Carefully remove the saucepan from heat and using a slotted spoon, remove the mint leaves.
  5. Stir in honey and lemon juice, mixing well before pouring into a cup.
  6. Enjoy your Ginger Mint Detox Herbal Tea hot or chill it for an iced version.
