- Begin by preparing your Italian bread. Remove the crust from all sides and cut it into 2 inch cubes. Depending on the size of your loaf, you should end up with about 8 to 12 cubes. This will ensure that each piece is perfect for toasting.
- Next, in a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened butter, dried parsley, dry Italian seasoning, salt, and minced garlic. Use a spatula to mix everything together until it forms a smooth, fragrant paste. The aroma of garlic will instantly fill your kitchen!
- Once your butter mixture is ready, generously spread it on all sides of each piece of bread, making sure to coat the ends as well. This will ensure an even distribution of flavor and help achieve that lovely golden color.
- Heat your cast iron pan over medium heat until it’s nice and hot. Carefully place the buttered bread cubes in the pan, making sure not to overcrowd it. You want to give each piece enough space to crisp up.
- Grill the bread on all sides, turning them occasionally with tongs. Keep an eye on them as they cook; you’re looking for a beautiful golden-brown color and a crispy texture. This should take about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
- Once the bread is golden and crispy, remove it from the pan and serve immediately. You can place it on a serving platter or keep it warm in the oven. Enjoy your Garlic Bread hot!
