Ingredients
  

  • 1.75 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.25 cups Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cups Cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cups Melted butter
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon zest from 4-5 lemons
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 ¼ cups of granulated sugar, ¼ cup of cornstarch, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Whisk in 1 cup of melted butter and 4 large eggs until smooth.
  4. Add 3 tablespoons of lemon zest, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of lemon extract, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir well until fully incorporated.
  5. Scoop the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it out evenly.
  6. Bake for approximately 15 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out mostly clean.
  7. Allow brownies to cool in the pan.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together 2 cups of powdered sugar and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice until smooth.
  9. Lift the brownies out of the pan and cut into squares. Drizzle glaze on top.
