Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 2 cans scream of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 1/4 cups chunky salsa
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 15 oz black beans rinsed
  • 1 can green chiles
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 8 oz canned corn
  • to taste cilantro optional
  • to taste avocados optional

Method
 

  1. Place chicken in crock pot with 1/2 cup of water poured over the top.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together all of your remaining ingredients. Pour over top, completely covering chicken. Cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
  3. Stir everything together and top with cheddar cheese and other toppings (optional). Enjoy!

Notes

  • Tip 1: Can also be done on the stove top (using shredded chicken) over medium heat, until warm (about 20 to 25 minutes).
