Ingredients
  

  • 116 ounce package bake and break chocolate chip cookies
  • 1 can vanilla frosting
  • Green food coloring
  • Sprinkles and mini candies

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Open the package of bake and break chocolate chip cookies and slice the cookies in half to make 48. Place on cookie sheets and bake for 8 to 12 minutes until light golden.
  3. Once baked, cool the cookies completely.
  4. Mix green food coloring into the vanilla frosting until you achieve a rich green color.
  5. Cover a board with parchment paper and spread the green frosting on it in the shape of a Christmas tree.
  6. Decorate the frosting with sprinkles and mini candies.
  7. Surround the frosted tree with mini cookies and serve within an hour or two.

Notes

  • Tip 1: Use about half my vanilla buttercream recipe to make this homemade.
  • Tip 2: You can make homemade cookies or use pretzels or fruit for dipping.
