  • 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cups NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
  • 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1.67 cups Eggnog
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 4 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • Whipped Cream (optional)

Method
 

  1. PREHEAT your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s directions.
  2. WHISK together the flour, baking cocoa, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. IN A MEDIUM BOWL, whisk together the eggnog, eggs, butter, and vanilla.
  4. COMBINE the wet mixture with the dry mixture and stir until just combined; do not over mix.
  5. STIR IN the chocolate morsels.
  6. SPRAY the preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray.
  7. POUR the waffle batter into the waffle iron in batches.
  8. COOK according to manufacturer’s directions until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes per waffle.
  9. SERVE warm and top with whipped cream if desired.
